BATTERY OPERATION
High quality quartz movement keeps accurate time powered by 2 x Type C Carbon Zinc batteries; 1 for the timing, 1 to drive the smooth rolling gears. The moving gears make a quiet relaxing calm, but if you wish to stop the gears rotation take out the battery which drives the gear mechanism.
NOTE: Do not use Alkaline or recharging batteries; they may cause damage to the movement and affect the timing of the clock.
